Update 11/8 - Game Jam End - Resuming Work after RL Developments


I'm happy to announce that I'm resuming work on Miracle Girl Chiyoko for the Continue-It Game Jam!  I took a brief hiatus as October was a busy month - I got married, and moved across the country!  Now that I'm settled in and my PC is set up again, I'm excited to resume work on this project.  I was also thrilled that Miracle Girl Chiyoko managed to place #1 Overall in the Magical Girl Game Jam 10, and received 1sts place in Audio and Gameplay Polish!  This is my first ranked Game-Jam, so this was very exciting!

For this game jam, my intent is to finish the Post-Jam Demo, which will contain an updated skill system, a dungeon system, rebalanced combat, a working browser-play version of the game, and other features.  There is also a lot of backend cleanup to do - some of the eventing in the original demo was sloppy and inconsistent, so that should get cleaned up too.

By the end of this second game-jam, I hope to have a better version of the demo, so I can decide where to go from there!  If you haven't already, check out the Game-Jam version of the demo attached to this devlog or on the game's main page.  Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
