Sword of Saints
Sword of Saints is a retro style NES era RPG inspired by Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy.
Your kingdom is in peril. Evil Lord, a demon prince from the World of Shadow, has invaded your world with his army of monsters. Only the legendary Sword of Saints, a blade forged by a Goddess, can banish him. As the Heroine, your duty is to take up this fabled weapon and wield it against this demonic threat.
But only the royal family knows the secret to unsealing the sword's power. Evil Lord's forces have kidnapped them, and are holding them in the citadels of his four most powerful henchmen.
You must navigate these dark dungeons and unearth their secrets. Wield sword and spell against goblins, beasts, undead foes and magical creatures. Find hidden magic and artifacts that change the way you fight. Feel the power of the Sword of Saints as you cut through an army of demonic soldiers.
Or perhaps... you will choose a different path.
This game is a remake of Sword of Saints, originally made in RM95 for the RPG Maker discord "RPG Maker 95 Game Jam" in 2024. However, this version of the game includes totally redrawn graphics, updated music, sound effects, and tons of new items and features!
The demo contains the first dungeon of the game. Demo length is about 30 minutes.

I played this demo on my stream and defeated the Goblin King. The combat and style of the art really felt like a love letter to the old Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior games, so you certainly hit that on the head. If the demo is any indication as to what the full game would be, I cannot wait to see what you do.
